Medley of old and new: traditional Hasidic chant melodies (our adaptation of a classic arrangement by Bonia Shur), followed by an original klezmer/cumbia tune. Composer Rick Faulkner was inspired to create his blend of Latin and Hasidic musical influences, fusing Colombian rhythm and Eastern European scale and harmony. Recorded live onstage in Eureka CA, July 2018.
